Delivery Driver

As a Delivery Driver at Luther's Events, you are the face of our company on the road and on-site. You'll safely transport tents, tables, chairs, décor and audio-visual equipment to venues across Georgetown, the East Bank and the East Coast of Demerara — and bring everything back in the same great condition. Punctuality, real care with our inventory, and a professional, friendly manner with clients are what make this role essential to every flawless event. What you'll do

• Plan and run daily delivery and collection routes safely and on schedule
• Load, secure and unload rentals, protecting equipment from damage in transit
• Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
• Represent Luther's professionally with clients and venue staff at every stop
• Verify each delivery and collection against the manifest and capture proof of delivery
• Keep your vehicle clean, fuelled and maintenance-ready

What we're looking for

• Valid Guyana driver's licence in good standing (minibus/lorry class a strong plus)
• At least 2 years of professional driving experience with a clean record
• Strong knowledge of Georgetown and East Bank / East Coast Demerara roads
• Physically able to lift and manoeuvre up to 25kg repeatedly through the day
• Reliable and punctual, with flexibility to start early or finish late on event days
• A courteous, customer-first attitude and clear spoken English
• Nice to have: experience in events, logistics or equipment handling
